Artificial plants are used to decorate domestic and commercial applications where the chances or a real plant surviving are less than certain. That is, if the maintenance of the real plants is unreliable (watering, rotating towards light). Or, the risk that the real plant will leave a water mark on the floor covering. Or if the plant is required in an area where there is not enough natural light to sustain the real plant. Some applications where artificial plants can be preferred are: Restaurants to create an ambience, or visual screen. Open plan offices or furniture stores, to break the sometimes monotonous low profile expanse. Exhibitions where artificial plants can be lighter, resilient and more portable.
