We are makers & importers of quality artificial
flowers, foliage & associated goods for fashion & interior
decoration
Silkflowers.com.au is the internet shopfront and product reference site
for Bradford Potter Pty Ltd
Bradford Potter Pty Ltd has been making and
importing artificial flowers since 1924
We are located approximately 200
kilometres South of Sydney and have next day delivery service* to Sydney,
Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide & many major regional towns. * Orders
must be received before 10.00 am the day before delivery is required &
urgent delivery should be stated under "additional instructions" in
the checkout process. Critically urgent orders should be notifed by phone, fax
or return email confirmation.
3. Website aims and
features
This website is designed
to showcase all of our products so that you can find what you
want quickly and easily. To help you decide on the best product for your
needs, we have included the following features -
a. Photos -
Most products have 2 photos. Firstly a small photo with a brief
description (thumbnail), when clicked, then gives a larger photo (and
description) at a different angle and close up where possible (detail page), to
help you get a better appreciation of the detail of the
product.
b. Item Numbers
- Each product has a unique item number that can be referenced for easy
identification
c. Price - Each
product is priced competitively for domestic (incl' GST) and international
customers.
d.
Shopping cart facility that gives you the option to buy online
with a secure transaction process. There is also the option to purchase via
phone, fax, email or personally using referance numbers from the
website.
e. Easy
navigation through, logical groupings of products, a powerful "search" facility and a
comprehensive "tips" page for
general help and hints.
f. Regularly
maintained website to mirror as closely as possible the status of
new, current and discontinued stock.
g. Delivery of ordered
goods is prompt and competitively priced.

5. Products
All types of artificial
artificial flowers for -
Fashion,
including soft artificial flowers, various fabric,
polyester, custom made, etc..
Interior decoration, including polyester long stem
artificial flowers, leaves, foliage, garlands, etc..
Craft,
including small
artificial flowers, sprays & bunches
Display,
including large artificial leaves, artificial flowers, and other oversized and
custom made related goods
Note - We do not normally do flower arrangements, hanging baskets, large
plants, etc.. due to their bulky nature & freight cost
constraints

6. Photos of products
Product photos will be
improving as our site grows, but at the moment to get as many items up as
quickly as possible some photos may not be as good as we would
like. Notwithstanding the above, the colours of the products are
fairly close, and currently we think any photo is better than no photo at
all. To show more clearly, the detail of the flower /
decoration end of the product, the stem end may be truncated from the
photo. The total length of the item may be included in the
description
7. Stock quantity levels
All items are in
stock except "Custom made from your fabric" or, if an item runs out of stock, a
"backorder" and approx' lead time note will be entered into that
item's brief description, as soon as possible. From time to time, some items may
run out of stock and there may be a short lead time before this information is
entered on the website. If quantities are important, call for a stock
quote.
8. Freight fees
1. We charge
freight out at what it costs us. As a guide, a small fashion order may
be dispatched ordinary for AUS$5.50 or 6.93 Express or $10.50
international. A standard freight & packaging fee of AUS$7.50 will be
added to your purchase at the "payment details" stage of your payment
transaction, which covers most small to medium
orders
2. Please nominate
under the " Special Instructions " section during the
payment process weather you require the goods to go ORDINARY (2 to 4 days within
Australia) or EXPRESS (next day capital citys & major
regional towns, 2 days other areas). Don't hesitate to use the
"Special Instructions " section to communicate any thing that concerns you.
3. If the freight & packaging fee of AUS$7.50 is
actually higher, then you will be emailed /contacted with a request to approve
the correct amount
4. If the freight is actually lower than the AUS $7.50
charged this will be adjusted down on the invoice and charged
accordingly
5. If you are concerned about freight costs then contact us
for a freight quote.
6. Your credit card will only be charged after the
goods have been picked ready for delivery
7. Your credit card will be charged by "Bradford Potter Pty
Ltd"
8. An Invoice will be sent with the
goods (Refer delivery insurance on this
page)
9. Currency

10. Goods & services tax

11. Payment methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express
cards, paypal, paymate. Also Australian direct deposit, cheque
& money order.
All goods & freight must be paid up
before dispatch
Due to security concerns in some countries, we may request a
clear copy of the credit card front and back with a supporting signature, and a
statement confirming name, amount paid, order ID, and date, to be emailed faxed
or posted to us. We reserve our right to refuse credit card payment
facilities, and any suspected fraudulant activities will be reported to
crimestoppers.
12. Delivery
methods
Within Australia we use Australia Post or Star Track Express. Outside
Australia we use Australia Post, UPS or FedEx
13. Delivery insurance
Insurance is not necessarily required due to the mostly non fragile
nature of the goods and the good delivery track record. Insurance can be quoted
with freight if required
14.Privacy
We treat your order & payment details with full
confidentiality. No private information is sent or sold to any third
party

the information you submit to us secure and private. We accept credit card
payments and provide you with the safety and comfort you demand when ordering on
the Internet. silkflowers.com.au offers you the advantage of placing your order
online using secure servers and encryption. Your purchases, credit card
information, and personal data are encrypted and secured through a link to our
commerce server. During the completion of your order, you will be linked from
our web pages to customized screens on our secure server. Your information is
encrypted during its trip across the Internet to prohibit viewing by a third
party.
15.
Returns
Any items genuinely ordered in error may be
returned unused, in good saleable condition, if received back at our address
within 7 days of purchase for a full refund less freight cost. With the
exception of custom made flowers from your fabric (unless faulty).
If any item arrives damaged in transit
promptly notify us within 3 days of receiving ordered goods & you will be
fully refunded after returning goods for inspection.
16. Trade information
Trade prices of varying
discounts may be given if you can supply a viable trading name, Australian
Business Number or similar and contact details. Orders of a commercial
value only will be concidered. Trade credit is not issued from this
site.
17. Your comments
If you think we have
not given the appropriate quality of service or goods, please contact us. If
there is any way you think that we can improve our service or range, please

Although much care has been taken to

19. Urgent
orders
(This is especially for advertising and publicity
agents)
If you require goods yesterday, order
them last week, not tomorrow! or, at least contact us preferably by phone, early
to check availability and lead times, even if an order is not confirmed or still
in the concept stage.
20.
Samples
If a customer is not quite sure of an
item they can request a sample. The sample item is usually sent as an order with
it being noted as a sample, on the invoice. If the sample is not required by the
customer it can be returned within 7 days, in good order and condition, for
a refund less cost of
freight.
